The primary goal in founding Shifting Sands Support Services was to guarantee that each individual member can engage meaningfully in daily activities, fostering community involvement. These personalised services are extended to adults and children with disabilities, along with their families, to facilitate these opportunities.
I have been with shifting sands for some time now. I have four support workers and I find them to be very caring and supporting. Nothing is to much trouble for Trent and his team. I have been on many respites with Trent and enjoyed every minute of them. I can’t recommend them enough five stars
Trent is a reliable worker, he was great with behavioural support. He was hardworking, cheerful and proactive with finding fun things for Jules to do 🙂
All our support workers have extensive experience within the community services sector or have worked in such roles as case managers, youth workers, or disability lifestyle facilitators.
Our support staff have the opportunity for continuous training to enhance and expand their skill sets throughout their careers. We provide education to our support workers on trauma-informed care and techniques for effectively de-escalating challenging situations.

I have had the privilege of utilising Shifting Sands for the last 7 months and can not recommend them enough! My clients are a diverse group with a multitude of complexities and Trent along with his staff have always provided an excellent, reliable and reputable service.
